The American Chestnut Foundation (TACF) is comprised of 16 state chapters located throughout the tree's native range, covering roughly 200 million acres from Maine to Alabama. The work of these dedicated volunteers helps preserve regional diversity and expand TACF's breeding programs, independent research, local education programs, and member recruitment activities.
The progress and accomplishments of TACF would not be possible without the selfless commitment of our chapter volunteers.
Share a one-time donation with a chapter to help further chestnut research and preserve genetic diversity.
